Luna Tic Tac Tournament - Third letter

Dear footie friends,

Now that the Luna Tic Tac Tournament is officially called Luna Tic Tac Tournament and the festivities are only 4 weeks away from us, it’s about time we send you the 3rd letter, which we promised you a few weeks ago.

1. From 15 August about noon, we will welcome 16 male and 10 female teams to the Ponderosa. Friday 10 pm is the official opening and draw and we would like to see 1 representative of each team in the big marquee, if possible wearing team colours.
On Saturday, the men will play football in 4 groups of 4 (11-a-side), while the women tackle each other in 2 groups of 5 (6-a-side). The final games are scheduled for Sunday (though the women might play a couple of these games on Saturday as well), so that every team has 2 or 3 games left. It’ll be “normal” football rules, i.e. with normal throw-in, offside and a back-pass to goalie means goalie is not allowed to use his/her hands. For more details, check out the tournament programme.

2. Entrance fee:
75 € (or £ 60) for the men’s teams
and
50 € (or £ 40) for the women’s teams.
We would appreciate it if every team could pay up on Friday night AFTER the draw (pay Nico, Wim, Steve, Tom A. or Sven).

3. An addition to the itinerary in the 2nd letter:
* on the A12: coming from “Antwerpen”, follow Rotterdam (and Bergen-op-Zoom)
* locally: watch out for signs “Geel-Zwart ‘89”, “Ponderosa” and “Lunatics” (the latter are to be found hanging upside down every now and again)

4. Keep the Ponderosa clean. Thank you.

5. There’s still a couple of teams that haven’t sent us any info and/nor pics.
If possible, send to Nico before 25 July.


6. For participation in playback show / free podium on Saturday night: mail the name of your act, the number of people involved, the necessary music and other attributes to Mathias (franssensmathias@hotmail.com), Marc (marcentine@telenet.be) and Wout (woutvandeleest@hotmail.com).

7. We also thought about people preferring other sports than football. On Sunday there will be a “jeu de boules” tournament, 2 persons per team. This is organised by Thin Thomas, also known as Mathias’ brother.
