Despite good football (considering the strong wind) and the will to win Lunatics FC were not able to become champions. An early goal from Patriots woke us up after , for at least some of us, a heavy party night. A goal from Adri brought us back in the running for the free beer and Gilsboys virtual champion for a while. The match stayed exciting and there were good opportunities on both sides. Finally Patriots found their way to the goal somewhere in the second half. 1-2 it remained and Patriots Champion. Cheers. No man over board for Lunatics FC off course. With a full agenda of events, tournaments and parties it will be again a pleasant and hot summer of love and football. Besides, are there other teams in the leaque hosting a museum and having their own brand of Cava? Nuff said, Lunatics FC plays the way they drink. With bubbles!!!!!!

Lunatics FC - Patriots 1-2

naar verluidt moet de match in ieder geval reuzespannend geweest zijn, 'k heb er zelf
niks van kunnen zien vanwege die vijf rijen springkonijnen voor mij
derde helft me zoals gewoonlijk aan nuchtere nabeschouwingen gehouden, zoals daar waren:
- de tomatensoepkes hebben tegenwoordig geen korstjes meer
- stormloop op paprika chips en fristi door zich immer kwadraterende Lunakids
- 't glas cava dat de Lunas in de tweede helft in hun bilspleet verborgen hielden was
geen sportieve meesterzet
