Another draw and one without goals, must have been quite boring. None of that, the supporter saw a nice and very fair match of football, with scoring opportunities at both sides. At the end Lunatics FC maybe deserved somewhat more to win, but as long as some players think that they better shoot at goal with the outside of the foot, it will remain difficutlt to score. Oh, yes and a clean sheet. A keeper should be happy with that, but not so for the luna goalie. And we shouldn't blame him, because he's right. It isn't that simple.

We'll get there in the end, zeettem veur hij zijne kop voorover liet vallen na voor de 3de keer MotD te hebben gezien. Alleen dieje "muziek" in de kantine, daar moet toch iets aan gedaan worden en wel sito presto.

Boterhammen De Brug

Ondanks het door de Voorzitter verspreide bericht is er geen reden tot paniek met betrekking tot de boterhammen voor de match tegen De Brug. Dat komt in orde.

Eerst competitiewedstrijd thuis, en dat is nog altijd in het Wimmeke Dams Stadion aan de Leugenberg. Nadien ALGEMENE VERGADERING met belangrijkste onderwerp 'LIDGELD betalen of goe wa peiren van de voorzitter'.

O.a. Werner en Matte (hoewel die zelf nie kan komen) organiseren een fuifke nu vrijdag. Verkleden is korting zegt de flyer, maar in wat? In monokini of nudist lijkt me wel wat gezien het thema. Wel iets moeilijker om je wisselgeld en drankbonnekes bij te houden ...

Gilsboys - Lunatics FC 2-2

Lunatics FC started the competition with a draw. Gilsboys opened the score quite early. Lunatics stayed calm, played pass and move and scored two times. A nice free kick by PejPejPej, and one by Kenny who slipped through the defense, close to offside position, and had the time of his live to mark already his sixth goal of the season. We also saw the replacement of Blauwers by Dudu in Goal and Teun for Matte. Unfortunately, at the end of the game, Gilsboys managed to score and equalized. A fair result for this first match under difficult circumstances. 30 degrees in the arse of the lion.

14u30 spelen, dus 13u45 verzamelen in de kantine van de thuisploeg en dat is op Laagland. En daar gaan we weer: WAAR
op het Laagland dan astemblift? Wel, om kort te gaan: als je boven op de brug staat, rij je – richting Merksem – naar
beneden en na een paar honderd meter sla je linksaf. “Laagland/Seja” zeggen de bordjes.

Om 8 uur spelen, dat is dus om half acht daar. En daar, dat is aan het kooike in Putte. En het kooike ligt achter de purperen voeiering. Voor de old lunatics onderons, daar waar we onze eerste competitiewedstrijden speelden, in de buurt van het anti-tank kanaal en daar waar er rioolwater uit de douches stroomde.

Another great win for lunatics last weekend in their last qualifying cup match. Pleasant day, nice weather, fresh beer and Robin establishing retros and coup de bouls just like in his better days when he was called the pearl of the bessemei or something. Further to remember was a nice goal from Oskaar that would ease the pain a bit for the 3-0 loss of the Reds against the Blue S...
Three great wins in a row, it seems that we're ready for our first leaque match next week against Gilsboys.

Forza 82 komt eraan

Forza 82 rolt van de drukpers en wordt zaterdag verspreid. Als Dejosse een beetje z'n best doet kunt ge hem morgen misschien al downloaden. Papieren versie nog altijd gratis en voor niks voor de spelers en sympathisanten met een gouden staat van dienst. Alle anderen kunnen een abonnement nemen. Voor de juiste prijs moet ge eens aan de coach z'n fluit trekken.

Zaterdag 09/09/06 14:30 Nieuw Boechout A - Lunatics FC

Dat betekent dat ge daar, waar vroeger de schranshoeve was en waar nu een veredelde Zwitsere alpenhut staat, om 13:45 moet zijn. Men spreekt ook altijd over borsten en billen als we daar naar toe moeten, maar ondergetekende weet niet echt waarom. Als ge de wegbeschrijving volgt die in een Forza van vorig seizoen stond volgt, rij je garantie verkeerd. Maar omdat het je toch in de buurt brengt of omdat het fout rijden eerder te wijten is aan brain damage bij ondergetekende, kopieer ik hieronder de bewuste route.

"eerst moeten we naar Borsbeek centrum waar er lichten zijn. Aan die lichten moeten we richting Boechout nemen. Voorbij aan Berco (de pluimveeslachterij) en ongeveer 500 meter verder links naast de hoeve de Spokenhofstraat inslaan. En dan maar blijven volgen tot je de terreinen zou moeten zien liggen achter de tennisterreinen en tennishal Van Langendonck.
Wie van Mortsel komt, rijdt richting Lier tot over de brug in Boechout. Aan de lichten sla je links af en die baan blijf je volgen tot aan de 1ste rechts (de Spokenhofstraat) en dan rij je verder zoals hierboven staat als je vanuit Borsbeek komt.
Ze vragen uitdrukkelijk om uw voertuig te parkeren achter het chalet van Nieuw Boechout en niet aan de tennishal.
Volgens ons is dit het oude terrein of complex dat vroeger “Schranshoeve” heette, maar zeker zijn we niet – dat zullen de vrienden met Katholieke sportervaring wel weten – en toch vragen we ons af of Doktor Heinrich hier ooit eens geen spuit in ’t gat van Schwarzenbeck heeft gezet… Of verwarren we Schranshoeve met Duboco? Wie zal ’t zeggen?"

Gelieve te noteren dat Stadhuis B volgende zaterdag tot mijn grote spijt niet over voldoende spelers zal kunnen beschikken om de bekerwedstrijd op Lunatics te spelen wegens verlof, werk, enz. Wij hopen dat dit eenmalig is en we verder geen forfait meer moeten geven. Het is voor jullie niet aangenaam maar voor ons, het bestuur, ook niet. Nogmaals mijn verontschuldigingen en hopelijk kunnen jullie iedereen nog op tijd verwittigen ! Sportieve groeten

Lunatics FC: Great start - Pre-season Cup match

The Lunas started this coming seasons' cup matches (seen as pre-season matches) with both feet on the ground by pushing in a 5:0 win on their home turf last saturday. It could clearly be seen that the lunas were struggling with their form, however, they impressed their home fans with their impressive ball passing techniques and undisputable command of the game. The Lunas face yet another cup test this coming saturday on their home turf. A win will clearly see the Lunas to the second round of the cup competition.

The competition kicks-off in two weeks time and the Lunas are expected to put up an impressive performance in this higher division(2nd division) where they surely belong.

Bravo Lunas and best wishes for the new season. Let them know that the Lunas are in town.

Second place at Tutti Footie Festival for Lunatics

Lunatics fc lost the final against Boys Leknica from Poland. A penantie goal decided a rather boring game of footbal. But what a fantastic, beautiful, hot and superb tournament it was. Keep it going and respect and a big applaus for anyone involved in the organisation of Tutti Footie.

Lunatics FC: "Luna's on tour"
Yesterday we had a good repetition for Hanover on and of the field! There are still some people who want to drive and still some people who want to join us for this weekend's trip. No one special is co-ordinating it (allthough Nico wrote down a few things yesterday) but I suppose you better get in touch with eachother. I heard Wim, Broekie, Josse, Rudi, Nico and Peter will be driving to Hanover on Thursday.
As for our contribution to the poolshow please take yer white marcelleke (onderhemmeke) with ya!!! Other flashy swimwear, fancy sunglasses and weird inflatables will also be very much appreciated (as will be fireworks) !!! Tutti Footie shake yer bootie !!!

Maandag om 21:30 bij Wim wordt er verder afgesproken over vervoer. Als ge nog mee wil best daar aanwezig zijn. Meesten vertrekken donderdag middag/avond (27/07) en komen zondag/maandag terug.

Net ontvangen bericht over Hannover tornooi, maar eerst natuurlijk nog naar Freiburg (8-9 juli)voor diegene die kunnen.

Important:
The tournament will be played over three days.
The games will start on Friday the 28th of July from 10 o `clock on. Therefore the arrival and the draw (9.30 p.m.) as we said will already be on Thursday the 27th of July.

The situation for the women `s tournament has changed a bit:
it will be a small pitch tournament (7-7) in which 6-8 teams take part. (DOEN DE LUNACHIX MEE???)


For the children a “free” tournament is going to take place. All children at the age between 6 and 14 are told to bring their stuff and join it. (MOETEN DIE KLEIN MANNE NO OOK AL STUFF MEEBRENGEN?)

On Saturday night we will celebrate a pool show, to find out who is the real winner of our hearts in this tournament.
Every team is asked to perform a spectacle (not longer than 10 minutes) in or around the pool. The performance should have an incidental music, which should be brought on a CD at the day of arrival. (DIT MOET EEN MAKKIE ZIJN VOOR WIM, WAT DIE ALLEMAAL NIE KAN IN EEN ZWEMBAD)

For the Tutti-Footie journal we need a photo of your choice (not necessarily one of the team) and a short note about you. Send it per Mail to the accounts mentioned below. The deadline for that is the 7th of July. (KEUS GENOEG)

Furthermore there is:
- supply through our kitchen crew all day long
- a healing tent and a spirit place (SPIRITUAL HEALING DUS)
- an official players market for transactions (DAAR KOMT AMBRAS VAN)
- the use of the public bath all day long until 10.00 p.m. (don`t forget your swimming suites!)
On the public bath area where our camping site will be, dogs are not allowed!

VETTIG MATCHKE (training + WM-voetbal) maandagavond 20-jun-2006
Jullie zijn volgende week maandag 26-jan-2006, allemaal van harte uitgenodigd bij onze NUMMER 13, Blauwers dus.
Aan zijn woonwagens achter ons thuisterrein aan de Leugenberg, naast het maandagavondzomertrainingskamp van Lunatics FC.
De bedoeling is om de training iets vroeger te laten beginnen (vanaf half acht) zodat we op tijd voor 't bakske kunnen zitten, we zien wel of dat lukt.
Dus ook al train je niet mee dan mag je nog gerust afkomen voor de WM-wedstrijd op teevee (begin 21u). Gezelligheid troef!
Wel liefst uw eigen spirituozen e.d. meebrengen.
