Worst result so far of the season. We knew that it was going to get hard keep the points at home, but the strange decision of the ref to send our goalie out before the match was started didn't made it easier. It looks like using tape is not enough anymore to mask piercings or other rings. If this is true it might be the end of Blauwers 13 year old lunatics career, because the removement of his complete iron shop is nearly impossible without medical assistance. Hopefully a career not coloured by any cards as far as I know, but rather with a high level of fair play and superb keeping does not deserve to end like this. I hope some refs or bobos might agree on this. Enough said so far. After 5 minutes we had to subsitute Steve in his first appearance for the lunas with a serious shoulder injury. Mission nearly impossible and a good and fast playing Vogelvrij killed us complete. No discussion about their win, a lot of discussion about the rest. We'll be back that's for sure.

In the recent times the Lunas have been on low energy, Ramadhan is over now, eat eat eat and Inshallah we shall prevail. Allow me to dedicate this saturday match to Jani who has yet to experience a win with the Lunatics :- so lets give all what we can to register positive results this weekend.

Zoals vorige jaar speel ik ook dit jaar weer een klein rolletje in een toneelstukje bij toneelvereniging De Vriendenschaar in Stabroek.We spelen de laatste twee weekends van november."Café bij Stienus". De data zijn: 17, 18 & 19 november, 24 & 25 november. De voorstelling begint om 20u00 en gaat door in zaal Moorland te Stabroek. Kaarten best op voorhand reserveren (kaart kost € 7), bel 0494 690 460.

Street riots at Ekeren after Lunatics defeat

A comlete offday for lunatics FC who couldn't compete with the youngsters from Patriots. The few chances we had, were unluckily missed. Patriots somewhat sharper and better were also spoiling opportunities. At the end they managed to score, a bit lucky, because Blauwers misjudged a shot and the ball went slowly in goal. However, very remarkable and for the first time this season, the coach couldn't rely on eleven players. Supersub Teun hurried up to the ground after an emergency call and was after changing and and a quick breakfast in the local canteen ready to play. Despite this extraordinary effort, there was no progress in lunatics FC's performance. Final score: 2-1. Kenny of course marked for Lunatics FC. Later that night Coach Oskar and official represantive Minki had serious arguments about what was going wrong. The latter accused the coach of sending lunatics players occasionally to Anfield to prepare them for the serious work at the Wim Dams Stadium. According to Minki, Oskar's heavily Raki toxicated brain, is loosing out of sight that a team consists of eleven players. Oskar is still arguing that collaborations of this kind could work out well, pointing at the 4-1 victory of Royal Antwerp FC against Lokeren at the Bosuil hell of Deurne North.

14u30 spelen, dus 13u45 verzamelen in de kantine van…Patro Hoevenen. Dat is het ondertussen al niet meer zo nieuwe complex in Hoevenen, in de buurt van ’t vliegveld: als je van Kapellen komt aan de linkerkant van de baan, als je van het vliegveld komt aan de rechterkant. Anders verzamelen bij den Blauwers en te voet door het veld.

In loving memory, tentoonstelling Lotte 15/10

Ondertussen al meer dan een jaar geleden (7 mei 2005) dat we geschokt werden door het nieuws dat Lotte onverwacht was gestorven. De vele kunstwerken die ze ondanks haar jonge leeftijd had gemaakt worden op 15 oktober tentoongesteld. De tentoonstelling vindt plaats in het huis waar ze van plan was te gaan wonen. Van Bogget tegenstander 1/16 finales Beker Gaston Willems

Onze volgende tegenstander in de beker Marcel Van Bouwel. Zwaanst na ni. Nee, het is waar: op 23 december speelt Lunatics FC in de 1/16de finales thuis (16u30) tegen F.C. VB.
En F.C. VB is... het vroegere Van Bogget natuurlijk. Wie kent ze nog?

ZA 14/10 GEEN WEDSTRIJD

De wedstrijd van zaterdag tegen Olympiasport is uitgesteld tot 11 november. Dus ga allen heen naar Wijnegem Shopping Centrum, speel met de kindjes, trek er eens op uit of blijf gewoon heel den dat stinken in uwe nest of ga eens naar den Antwerp zien. Als er iemand mee wil zaterdagavond, laat het weten.

Lunatics FC - Los Incas Peru 2-0

First victory of the season against Los Incas Peru. Well established pass and move play by lunatics fc resulted in two fine goals. One by Robin, believe or not, and one by Kenny who played occasionally(?) and very well at midfield. Maybe not that difficult if you can rely on a superb a1, a2, Adri. Los Incas couldn't come closer than some shots from distance. Dudu in goal from the start, because Blauwers was pinking in Turnhout, made good safes. Apart from the football, the question where to go after the match will probably the next big discussion. For those who were at the opening of the Bosphorus restaurant later that night, there might be no discussion. Only, I'm afraid that the free drinks and food was just occasionally. Terrific new spot to eat at Ekeren, check if out. Below the other results:

Vanavond Ma 2/10 Vriendenmatch Marktkramers

Vanavond om 8 uur, nie vergeten, vriendenmatch tegen de marktrkramers. Over een klassieker gesproken, Antwerp gewonnen van Malinwa. 't leven kan toch schoon zijn. Vanavond dus afspraak aan het terrein van Olympic Deurne, achter/naast de skipiste van Ruggeveld.

Very unlucky last saturday. Not that we played that good, but at the end a draw hadn't been stolen. That our goal was made by right back Dejosse says enough. Nice one. Two shots on goal stranded on the crossbar and other good opportunities were in one way or the other spoiled. Summarized, we played worse the first half, somewhat better the second and probably had something to tell during the third. Couldn't stay, but there seemed to be an athmosphere in the air for some serious drinking.
