Sat 1 April Lunatics FC - Patriots 16:00

If you win the title on the 1st of April, who's going to believe that anyway. Match of no importance, big importance, whatever happens it will be only a footnote in the rich history of Lunatics FC. Thing is that there's still a gap to be filled in the new museum and a trophy will fit there very well. So if you listen good and carefully, you can hear the Lion already wakening. .........You heard him? Frightening, not????!!!!!!
Good luck to anyone involved in this competition, and thanks to all the other teams to keep it thrilling until the end. I think we'll definitely have a party saturday. So, come and joint us, if you like.

Fri 31 March Official 0pening Lunatics FC Museum

After a very long period of construction works, the Lunatics FC museum will finally be reopened. This occassion will be celebrated with a full cava/champieter reception sponsored by the generous but steadily slinking Lunatics budget. Considering earlier Lunatics celebrations like this, the chance that this might end up in a collective delirium is not imaginary. If this might help us to win the topper the day after is another pair of sleeves.

VYCA - Lunatics FC 2 - 0

Both teams on top decided to keep the competition exciting. Next week Lunatics FC and Patriots will compete for the championship during the last match of the season. In other words, the interest of Norhtern-Antwerp Polderpetat Topper, that was postponed because of bad weather, stayed intact.

Sat. 25/03 VYCA - Lunatics FC 13:00

13u spelen, 12u15 verzamelen… ‘k Zen wer be Eddy Maarks Oem ne nieve vlauw gewist. Volstaat dat als wegbeschrijving, of toch maar een beetje duidelijker? Laagland/Tuinwijk, daar moeten we zijn en dat is in Merksem. Niet waar we tegen Laagland hebben gesjot, maar wel tegen, u raadt het al, Pimpernel, allez dat denken we toch. Vanboven aan de brug dus. Allez, in ’t boekske van ’t verbond staat “de brug over de autostrade nemen… vlak na de brug eerste straat links nemen en het terrein ligt aan de rechterkant” en bij Gilsboys schrijven ze “de brug over de autostrade nemen… terreinen liggen 200m verder aan de linkerkant”. Dus gaan we ervan uit dat “vlak na de brug” dichterbij is dan “200m verder”. Dus… als je van Merksem komt, is het net voor de top van de brug naar rechts en als je van Ekeren komt, is het
net over de top van de brug naar links. Allez, als je van Merksem komt en je rijdt via de Luchtbal en den Eeckerschensteenweg … maar dat weet je ondertussen al. Zie maar da ge allemaal op tijd zijt. En geen uitvluchten van “but it’s the Anfield derby mate…”.

Still in the running for free beer after last weekend's victory against good old veterans of 't Paviljoen. Not a performance to be proud of but everyone happy after the final whistle.

Gilsboys - Lunatics FC 5-3

Aha, finally find the time to report this scandalous defeat against Gilsboys last weekend. Before we were well awake we were 4-1 down. We started somewhat better the second half but couldn't come closer to 4-3 and another counter attack of Gilboys made it a 5-3 final score. Good fun for the supporters and a nice third half victory made it another succeful lunaday. Also finally rid of that lead position. The pressure was to high for some lunatics, so it can only go better from now on (vanafnauw). The lion is seriously wounded ...

Sat 11 Gilsboys - Lunatics FC 14:30

14u30 spelen, 13u45 verzamelen… ‘k Zen be Eddy Maarks Oem ne nieve vlauw gewist. Volstaat dat als wegbeschrijving, of toch maar een beetje duidelijker? Laagland/Seja, daar moeten we zijn en dat is in Merksem. Niet waar we tegen Pimpernel hebben gesjot, maar wel tegen, u raadt het al, Laagland, allez dat denken we toch, of zijn er daar vanonder aan de brug twee complexen? Vanonder aan de brug dus. Nee, niet van boven en dan vanonder maar gewoon vanonder. Als je van Merksem komt, is het voor de brug begint naar rechts en als je van Ekeren komt, is het net over de top van de brug naar
links. Allez, als je van Merksem komt en je rijdt via de Luchtbal en den Ekersesteenweg en de Veltwijcklaan en de Leerhoeklaan (oppassen voor de bloembakken) en de Prinshoeveweg en de Oude Landen en het Laar aan het asielcentrum rechts de brug op, kom je dus eigenlijk wel van Merksem maar toch van Ekeren, snapte? Allez, zie maar da ge allemaal op tijd zijt.

GEEN TRAINING VANAVOND
Maandagavond 6 maart 2006 is er geen training voor Luna's, Sjoekkolatters en andere sportliefhebbers er zal ook niet indoor getraind worden. Voorlopig zijn er ook nog geen andere activiteiten gepland. Allemaal dan maar ineens naar den artisjok zeker?
